• W4312846067 abstract "Chrombelmin is a gel-like mixture of chelated compounds of essential trace elements such as zinc, manganese, copper, cobalt, iodine, selenium and chromium. The purpose of the research was to study the enfl uence of the Chrombelmin metalloprotein complex on the body condition score and productivity of cows before and after calving. Feeding an unconventional feed additive in the rations of cows at the rate of 15 and 20 ml per 1 head/day for 20 days before calving and 30 days after calving caused optimal body condition score of cows due to optimization of energy metabolism in the body and an increase in productive traits. At the beginning of the experiment the body condition score of cows (estimated 7 days before calving) was close in all groups and amounted to 3,25 points in the 1st control group, 3,31 and 3,19 points in the 2nd and 3rd experimental groups, respectively, which was 1,8 % higher in the 2nd group and 1,8 % lower in the 3rd group then the 1st control group. During the period of the experiment this indicator in animals of the 1st control group decreased to 2,82 points. In the cows of the experimental groups body condition score was 7,1 and 3,2 % higher in the groups, respectively. Cows received Chrombelmin in the ration showed the increase in the average daily milk yield of natural fat content by 3,5–5,8 kg, and in terms of 4 % milk by 5,1 kg per day. In the milk of cows of the 1st control group the fat content was 3,72 %, in animals of the experimental groups this indicator increased by 0,43 and 0,31 abs.% when feeding 15 and 20 ml of Chrombelmin per head/day. The mass fraction of protein in milk in cows of the experimental groups was higher than the control group and amounted to 3,41 and 3,58 %, respectively, against 3,27 % in the 1st control group (p < 0,01)." @default.
