• W4313048584 abstract "ABSTRACTTeenagers feel they do not get good treatment from their fathers. Teenagers tend to get authoritarian parenting from their fathers. His father's authoritarian behavior makes teenagers feel uncomfortable with the situation at home. Their irrational thinking causes clients to seek comfort outside the home by smoking. This study aims to help clients to get positive problem focused coping strategies. This study uses a single case experiment research method with A-B design which aims to examine in depth the provision of an intervention. The method used in this research is purposive sampling method, therefore based on a single case experimental design, the subject of this study is a 15 year old teenager. The assessments carried out were observation, interviews, graphics, WISC and Forer. The intervention process was carried out for 8 sessions. The intervention technique used cognitive reconstructive techniques. After the intervention process of 8 sessions in 17 days showed that there was an increase, the client still thought that meeting his father would be scolded and beaten so that the client tried to change negative thoughts into positive by doing positive activities. Clients can find coping strategies by cooking, watching tv (life stories and playing football when having negative thoughts towards his father. Clients are quite able to cope and get used to new activities.Keywords: Negative thought patterns, cognitive restructuring, adolescents. ABSTRAKRemaja merasa tidak mendapatkan perlakuan yang baik dari ayahnya. Remaja cenderung mendapatkan pola asuh otoriter dari ayahnya. Perilaku ayahnya yang otoriter membuat remaja merasa tidak nyaman dengan situasi dirumahnya. Pemikiran irasional yang dimiliki menyebabkan remaja mencari kenyamanan diluar rumah dengan cara merokok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu remaja untuk mendapatkan problem focused strategi coping yang positif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian single case experiment dengan A-B design yang bertujuan mengkaji secara mendalam pemberian sebuah intervensi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitan ini adalah metode purposive sampling oleh sebab itu berdasarkan rancangan eksperiman kasus tunggal subjek dari penelitian ini adalah remaja yang berusia 15 tahun. Asesmen yang dilakukan adalah observasi, wawancara, grafis, WISC dan Forer. Proses intervensi yang dilaksanakan selama 8 sesi. Teknik intervensi menggunakan teknik rekonstrukturing kognitif. Setelah proses intervensi sebanyak 8 sesi dalam 17 hari menunjukan bahwa adanya peningkatan, remaja masih berpikir bertemu ayah akan dimarahi dan dipukul sehingga remaja mencoba untuk mengubah pemikiran negatif menjadi positif dengan cara melakukan kegiatan yang positif. Remaja dapat menemukan strategi coping dengan cara memasak, menonton tv (kisah kehidupan dan bermain sepak bola ketika memiliki pemikiran negatif terhadap ayahnya.
