- W4313058045 abstract "Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is a viable Multi-Carrier Modulation (MCM) Method for media transmission. In any case, One of the main disadvantages found in implementing this technique is the resulting high Peak Average Power Ratio (PAPR). Several approaches have been proposed to reduce the OFDM signal peaks. Single-carrier FDMA (SC-FDMA) is becoming increasingly more well-known in multiuser correspondence for its ability to reduce PAPR. There is a demand to investigate more current methods, which could decrease the PAPR esteem with next to no corruption in framework BER. In this work, a hybrid technique was proposed, SC-FDMA-DS-CDMA, which was proven to reduce the value of the PAPR than in the SC-FDMA technique. In this paper, the proposed SC-FDMA-DS-CDMA technique was implemented, and it was compared with the SC-FDMA technique in terms of PAPR and BER performance. The performance of the proposed system is demonstrated by using different types of modulation, such as 16PSK and 16QAM, as well as using different kinds of subcarrier mapping, such as localized and interleaved. Simulation results show that SC-FDMA-DS-CDMA performs better than SC-FDMA in PAPR for uplink, and its BER performance is close to SC-FDMA." @default.
