- W4313127952 abstract "The present research deals with optimizing thrust force developed during drilling of Al6063 with Silicon Carbide composites. Al-SiC MMCs are fabricated by employing the stir casting method, and also the composite strength is measured by thrust force using the drilling process. Initially, composites were prepared by mixing Al6063 with SiC (3, 6, and 9 wt%) with different proportions. Enhance the machining characteristics of the composite by conducting the experiments with three cutting parameters in drilling operation like drill diameter, feed rate, and spindle speed to calculate thrust force on Al-SiC Composite. Box – Behnken Design and analysis of variance (ANOVA) is used to make the best possible use of the cutting process. The result shows that drilling diameter influences the thrust force on Al-SiC composites compared to feed rate and spindle speed. In this research, drilling parameters were chosen and studied; drill diameter, feed rate, spindle speed, and thrust force output response. The coefficient of correlation 0.9885 indicated that the model developed was adequate. This proves that the model was vital at 95% at probability and so, and the models were often well utilized in Nano TiO2 Al-SiC composites drilling." @default.
