The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe how government oversight in the implementation of SAKIP as an effort to implement good governance in the Directorate General of Multilateral Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia is seen from the supervisory steps according to Sururama and Amalia (2020). The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques were conducted through interviews, observation, literature study, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used include data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions, and SWOT analysis. Member check, triangulation, and reference material are the data lever techniques employed. The results of this study indicate that the Inspectorate General has carried out supervision in accordance with applicable regulations. But is still constrained by the high rate of employee turnover. There is a limited number of human resources, and complex employees. Serious efforts are needed to deal with the various obstacles faced. Based on the results of the study, it can be said that the IG has supervised the implementation of SAKIP at the Directorate General of Multilateral Cooperation of the Republic of Indonesia. But the supervision has not run optimally due to internal and external factors that influence it. Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengawasan Pemerintahan Dalam Pelaksanaan SAKIP Sebagai Upaya Penerapan Good Governance Pada Direktorat Jenderal Kerja Sama Multilateral Kementerian Luar Negeri Republik Indonesia”. Adapun yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah belum optimalnya pelaksanaan pengawasan atas implementasi SAKIP di lingkungan Ditjen KSM oleh Inspektorat Jenderal Kemlu karena beberapa kendala yang dihadapi, sehingga nilai evaluasi AKIP belum dapat mencapai target yang ditentukan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana pengawasan pemerintahan dalam pelaksanaan SAKIP sebagai upaya penerapan good governance di lingkungan Ditjen KSM Kemlu dilihat dari langkah-langkah pengawasan menurut Sururama dan Amalia (2020). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, studi pustaka, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, pemaparan data, penarikan kesimpulan, dan analisis SWOT. Teknik verifikasi data yang digunakan yaitu member check, triangulasi, dan bahan referensi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Itjen sudah melakukan pengawasan sesuai peraturan yang berlaku, namun masih terkendala dengan tingkat mutasi pegawai yang tinggi. jumlah SDM yang terbatas, dan birokrasi yang kompleks. Diperlukan upaya yang serius dalam menangani berbagai kendala yang dihadapi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Itjen sudah melakukan pengawasan atas implementasi SAKIP pada Ditjen KSM, namun pengawasan tersebut belum berjalan optimal karena adanya faktor internal dan eksternal yang mempengaruhi." @default.
