The delay caused due to presence of phase locked loop (PLL) and changes of equations from Clarke's to Park's and vice-versa can be dodged by using stationary frame based control techniques and evading PLL. This paper discusses about the mathematical modeling and performance analysis of two stationary reference frame control techniques Proportional resonant (PR) and Grid voltage modulated-direct power control (GVM-DPC) for DG interfaced power converters in AC microgrid. The comparison between the two control techniques for voltage sag, swell and frequency variations is presented and superiority of GVM-DPC is justified through the simulations in MATLAB/SIMULINK environment." @default.
