- W4313156915 abstract "From the current study, it is reported that the two-dimensional mass transfer equation to calculate the chlorine concentration decay in channel flow. Such type of two-dimensional channels is mainly used in hilly area to supply the water for drinking purpose. Furthermore, Arrhenius model was augmented to study the ageing factor of the channel due to wall reaction. Chlorine concentration are compared by taking various factor likewise velocities, temperatures and various aged channel. In the present study, the results show the chlorine decay depends upon velocities, wall reaction coefficients and temperatures of the atmosphere. It is analyzed that chlorine concentration decay increases rapidly with the increment of the temperature, but it is gradually deceased at lower temperature up to 20 °C to 25 °C." @default.
