- W4313176585 abstract "Recently, there is a growing demand for thin steel plates, such as those used in automobiles and electrical appliances. In the manufacturing process of thin steel plate deterioration of surface quality due to contact between rollers and steel plate has become a problem. Our research group is studying magnetic levitation conveyance to propose a non-contact conveyance using electromagnets. However, the magnetic levitation of thin steel plates is not stable due to deflection in the range where the electromagnetic force does not affect. Therefore, in order to improve the levitation stability, we have been studying a bending magnetic levitation system in which the thin steel plate is bent during magnetic levitation to the extent that it is not deformed plastically. In this report, a dynamic analysis using the finite difference method is performed to understand the detailed behavior of the thin steel plate during magnetic levitation. In the dynamic analysis, the vibration was evaluated from the displacement standard deviation. From analysis results, constructed dynamic simulation can show the dynamic behavior of levitated flexible steel plate." @default.
