Критическому анализу подвергаются подходы к устоявшемуся направлению в криминалистике - одорологии. По результатам исследования авторы приходят к выводу о несостоятельности и нецелесообразности использования данного термина и рекомендаций криминалистической одорологии. Отдельно рассматривается вопрос о механизме образования пахнущих следов человека. Авторы классифицируют пахнущие следы человека с криминалистической точки зрения на фиксированные и нефиксированные следы. Обоснован тезис о том, что состоятельность экспертизы пахнущих следов человека на сегодня не вызывает сомнений, что подтверждается апробированными и внедренными в экспертную практику методическими материалами по ее производству. На основании анализа теоретической и эмпирической базы исследования авторами предлагаются тактические рекомендации по фиксации, изъятию и упаковке пахнущих следов человека, а также по назначению судебной экспертизы пахнущих следов человека. The article discusses various approaches to the essence of the origin of smelling human traces. The thesis is substantiated that the smell is not material, it is not a substance, but a sensation that occurs in living beings with olfactory analyzer receptors, as a result of which the examination of smelling traces of a person is impossible using instrumental research methods - insensitive devices. The article critically analyzes the approaches to the well-established direction in forensic science - odorology. Based on the results of the study, the authors conclude that the use of this term and recommendations of forensic odorology are invalid and inappropriate. Separately, the article deals with the question of the mechanism of formation of smelling traces of a person. The authors classify smelling traces of a person from a forensic point of view into fixed and non-fixed traces. The article substantiates the thesis that the examination of smelling traces of a person is valid today, which is confirmed by methodological materials for its production that have been tested and introduced into expert practice. Based on the analysis of the theoretical and empirical basis of the study, the authors propose tactical recommendations for the fixation, removal and packaging of smelling traces of a person, as well as for the appointment of a forensic examination of smelling traces of a person." @default.
