- W4313351391 abstract "Frailty is one of the notable health problems of the elderly. Frailty has been proposed as a multidimensional concept with multiple domains, including physical frailty, cognitive frailty, and social frailty. Previous studies have shown that frailty in elderly cancer patients affects treatment efficacy, prognosis, and quality of life (QOL). Therefore, frailty is also considered important in the field of oncology. However, at present, there is no internationally unified concept and evaluation method for frailty and the domains that comprise it. Cancer has become a disease for which long-term survival is expected due to widespread screening and improved treatment techniques. Physical therapists involved in the treatment of elderly cancer patients need an understanding of the multidimensional concept of frailty and the viewpoint of a long-term perspective that focuses on the life course. We hope that further research and discussion will lead to the realization of a seamless and comprehensive physical therapy intervention focusing on multiple frailty in elderly cancer patients." @default.
