The purpose is to verify the diffraction output in low-order mode predicted by numerical simulations. The diagnostic results have indicated that the MDO with all cavity extraction realizes the TEM mode output. When the diode voltage is 480 kV and the axial magnetic field is 0.49 T, the MDO could generate a microwave at a frequency of 2.42 GHz, corresponding to 950-MW output power and 25.8% conversion efficiency.
