• W4313412094 abstract "四国北西部に分布するひわだ峠層は，三波川変成岩類上に載る最古の地層として知られ，しばしば三波川変成岩類の地表への露出年代を制約するために使われる．しかしながら，同層に関する先行研究は少なく，同層と三波川変成岩類との関係すらも明確には記載されてこなかった．そこで本研究では，同層の全貌を明らかにすることを目的とし，地質調査と砕屑性ジルコンのU-Pb年代測定をおこなった．ひわだ峠層は，層厚100 m以上の浅海成層で，石灰質および非石灰質な礫岩・砂岩により構成される．産出する海棲生物化石と砕屑性ジルコンのU-Pb年代から，その堆積年代は中期始新世のLutetian期前期であると推定される．また，同層は基盤の三波川変成岩類を無整合に覆い，また上位の久万層群によって傾斜不整合で覆われている．したがって，少なくとも四国地方の三波川変成岩類は，中期始新世初めまでには地表に露出していたと考えて良い．" @default.
