- W4313442358 abstract "Organosiloxane copolymers with carbocyclic fragments in the backbone can be synthesized by HFC reaction between primarily prepared difunctional organocyclosiloxanes and organocyclocarbosiloxanes and alpha, w-dichloro(dihydroxy)dimethylsiloxanes. HFC reaction of 1,3-dihydroxytetraphenyldisiloxane and 1,5-dihydroxyhexaphenyltrisiloxane with silicon tetrachloride has been studied. The presence of hydrogen chloride acceptor in the reaction decreases the effect of diol side homocondensation and gives an opportunity to apply these reactions to direct synthesis of mentioned organocyclosiloxanes. Gas-phase pyrolytic method is successfully applied to synthesis of silicon-containing heterocyclic compounds. Intramolecular gas-phase pyrolysis of o-dichlorosiloxydiphenyl was performed, accompanied by hydrogen evolution and formation of a hexatomic ring of the phenanthrene type. Cyclolinear poly(organosiloxanes) of the above-mentioned general formula represent liquids, capable of easy transformation to 3D-crosslinked elastomers at room temperature in the presence of catalytic amounts of acids and alkali, which induce regrouping of siloxane bonds. Relatively equilibrium content of the gel-fraction in the polymer is the probability criterion for interchain interaction." @default.
