Finding applications to replace virgin plastic with recycled plastic without affecting functionality is a key problem. The pipe manufacturing plant comes under the small- and medium-scale industries. Plastic pipes are commonly used in irrigation, water supply, and building drainage, etc., They help to assimilate waste plastic and to procure the eco-system of the planet. In this study, the Carbon Footprint analysis is applied to quantitatively analyze the three waste plastic pipes P1 (2 inches inner diameter, 4 mm wall thickness), P2 (3 inches inner diameter, 5 mm wall thickness), and P3 (4 inches inner diameter, 6 mm wall thickness) production process. The total emission for production of P1 pipe is 0.292–0.451 kgCO2 per meter of pipe; P2 pipe is 0.360–0.598 kgCO2 per meter of pipe and P3 pipe is 0.449–0799 kgCO2 per meter of pipe. The study suggested the use of recycled plastic in pipe production is environment friendly and economically beneficial. It also helps to enhance local job opportunities and improve social sustainability." @default.
