The data obtained were then analyzed using chi-square analysis test and SWOT analysis. From the results of the chi-square analysis test that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the factors that influence the development of Lake Tolire tourism objects are the variables of tourist attraction, tourist facilities, tourist infrastructure, information and promotion and security and comfort. Then from the results of the SWOT analysis, the concept of developing Lake Tolire tourism objects is obtained, namely combining the concepts of developing natural tourism, cultural tourism, and artificial tourism as the main concept in the development of Tolire Lake tourism objects as regional mainstay tourism, providing investment opportunities and facilitating all licensing processes in terms of development to attract the attention of the private sector in contributing to the development of Tolire Lake tourism objects, improving the quality of tourism supporting facilities and infrastructure in order to encouraging regional development and increasing competitiveness and attracting tourists to visit, the need for information and promotion efforts in the development of Lake Tolire attractions through the implementation of local events to city events as a promotional medium for the wider community, as well as the need for community participation in tourism management in order to improve the home stey of the community and encourage increased employment in the tourism sector. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis mengetahui apa factor – factor yang mempengaruhi pengembangan objek wisata Danau Tolire Kota Ternate dan bagaimana konsep pengembangan objek wisata Danau Tolire di Kota Ternate. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji analisis chi-square dan analisis SWOT. Dari hasil uji analisis chi-square yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi dalam pengembangan objek wisata Danau Tolire adalah variabel daya tarik wisata, sarana wisata, prasarana wisata, informasi dan promosi dan keamanan dan kenyamanan. Kemudian dari hasil analisis SWOT diperoleh konsep pengembangan objek wisata Danau Tolire yaitu memadukan konsep pengembangan pariwisata alam, pariwisata budaya, dan pariwisata buatan sebagai konsep utama dalam pengembangan objek wisata Danau Tolire sebagai pariwisata andalan daerah, memberikan peluang investasi dan mempermudah segala proses perizinan dalam hal pembangunan untuk mengait perhatian pihak swasta dalam berkontribusi pada pengembangan objek wisata Danau Tolire, meningkatkan kualitas sarana dan prasarana pendukung wisata guna mendorong pengembangan kawasan dan meningkatkan daya saing serta daya tarik wisatawan untuk berkunjung, perlunya upaya informasi dan promosi dalam pengembangan objek wisata Danau Tolire melalui pelaksanaan event-event lokal hingga dengan event-event kota sebagai media promosi terhadap masyarakat luas, serta perlunya perlibatan peran serta masyarakat dalam pengelolaan wisata guna dapat meningkatkan home stey masyarakat dan mendorong peningkatan lapangan kerja di sektor pariwisata." @default.
