- W4313462521 abstract "The possibility of realizing novel technical solutions in many branches of industry is always defined by thermal and frost resistance of modern elastic materials. One of the most interesting ways in this direction is synthesis of block-copolymers, which macromolecules represent “hybrids” of blocks different by chemical structure or composition. A combination of flexible poly(dimethylsiloxane) blocks with more rigid high-melting siloxane or rigid non-siloxane blocks in the polymer molecule imparts high strength and other valuable properties to non-vulcanized copolymer. Representatives of rigid-chain polymers are poly(phenylsilsesquioxanes). The unique properties of these polymers have made them one of the perspective polymeric materials. High interest to synthesis and study of poly(organosilsesquioxanes) is caused by good thermal properties of synthesized polymers and specific features of organosilsesquioxane polymers to combine regular linear structures using triand tetrafunctional compounds as monomers. However, realization of the cis-isotactic structure is associated with several steric hindrances and characterized by a short length of molecules." @default.
