The pseudopotential method is adopted to observe the effects of various parameters like beam density, ion temperature, etc. on the IA wave structures. Furthermore, the maximum amplitude of the IA wave is estimated, and its variation with fully relativistic electron beam parameters is investigated. The maximum allowed amplitude of the wave is found to decrease with the increase in the electron beam density as well as in the ion temperature. The Mach number has the effect to increase the maximum amplitude of the electric field." @default.
