- W4313484803 abstract "A physical and mathematical model is proposed for the study of regularities of heating of the antenna-feeder element during the propagation of an amplitude-modulated radio impulse. This element is modeled as a hollow conductive two-layer cylinder. The inner layer is considered as a thin copper coating. The outer stainless steel layer is the base of the element. The initial relations of the initial-boundary value problem of electrodynamics for the double-layered cylinder under consideration are recorded. The axial component of the magnetic field strength vector was chosen as the determining function. To find it, a quadratic approximation was used over the radial variable in each component layer of the cylinder. The expressions of the determining function and Joule heat in the component layers of the cylinder under the homogeneous action of the amplitude-modulated radio impulse were obtained. Based on them, the change in time and in the radial variable of the determining function and Joule heat depending on the frequency and the coefficient of relative curvature of the cylindrical surface of the connection of the base and the cover of the antenna-feeder element was numerically analyzed." @default.
