Nowadays, nanocompounds play a vital role to enhance the growth and productivity of plants. Because of their small size, they can simply enter in soil and assist beneficial microbial population that is responsible for providing nutrition to plants through mineralization of various micro- and macronutrients. As a result, there is an urgent need to investigate their impact on various crops at different concentrations in order to ensure their safe application in the agriculture sector. At the genomics, proteomics, transcriptomics and metabolomic levels, multiomics approaches can be used to screen processes to address the challenges of understanding plant host and nanoparticle interactions, as well as the interactions between two species. In this chapter, we discuss about the usage of nanocompounds and their effect on plant and soil microbial diversity using omics technology for sustainable agriculture." @default.
