- W4313529284 abstract "In this work, we compared various techniques to investigate the crystallization behavior of silicate slags. One of these techniques is in-situ impedance spectroscopy, which was only recently reported as a new way to study the solidification of slags. We related the electrical conductivity data derived from this technique to the microstructure changes during slag cooling and used this relationship to construct the continuous-cooling-transformation (CCT) diagrams of the slags. It is concluded that the in-situ impedance measurement is an accurate approach which can be an alternative or provide complementary information about slag crystallization compared to thermodynamic calculations, differential thermal analysis (DTA) and confocal scanning laser microscopy (CSLM)." @default.
