Many measures have been taken to reduce diesel engine emission. In recent years, nonthermal plasma (NTP) technology has been gradually applied to the field of engine emission treatment. In this research, the authors introduced the selection of NTP generator, parameter design and electric field intensity in discharge zone were analyzed in detail. The coupling mode of NTP and catalyst, and the loading mode of catalyst were compared. Combined with the relevant experimental research, the authors analyzed the mechanism of CO, HC, PM and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) treated by NTP. Finally, the authors proposed some suggestions for the development of NTP technology." @default.
