Rajesh (2011) used the Crank–Nicolson type finite-difference scheme to solve the equations numerically. Due to the practical importance, the current work focuses on analyzing the problem of the hydromagnetic unsteady viscous dissipative flow of an electrically conducting incompressible fluid through an abruptly started infinite vertical porous plate with ramped wall temperature. To resolve the resulting system of dimensionless coupled non-linear differential equations governing the flow, a Crank–Nicolson type implicit finite-difference method is used.
