- W4313897943 abstract "Keeping in view various applications of Ni–Co ferrites in high frequency devices, it is important to alter their properties. For this purpose, Dysprosium (Dy3+) substituted Ni–Co ferrites with chemical formula Ni0·3Co0.7DyxFe2-xO4 (0.00 ≤ x ≤ 0.20) were synthesized using sol-gel route. The structural analysis was executed using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Fourier transform infra-red spectroscopy (FTIR). The crystalline size and lattice constant were calculated in the range 14–21 nm and 8.29–8.35 Å respectively. Two characteristic absorption bands were reported in FTIR spectra around 424 cm−1 and 550 cm−1. The dielectric parameters of these nano-ferrites exhibited decreasing tendency with applied frequency. At 1 GHz dielectric constant enhanced from 2.55 to 3.17 and at 0.5 GHz AC conductivity increased from 0.142 × 10−3-1.06 × 10−3 Ω−1-m−1 for x = 0.00–0.10. The Cole-Cole studies revealed formation of single semicircle. All these parameters suggest that these ferrites can be used in high frequency devices fabrication." @default.
