- W4316495561 abstract "Abstract Frisium anticorrosive activity in corrosive environments was investigated. The performance of the inhibitor as studied by weight loss method along with surface morphological experiments SEM and AFM. The drug showed higher anti corrosive activity 91.66 % in 500 ppm, the above results further showed the scale of inhibition is depends on the concentration of frisium by increasing the concentration the inhibition efficiency of the drug as increased as well as increasing the temperature the inhibition rate was decreased. Impedance results showed charge transfer takes place between the metal surface and acid solution and frisium performed as a mixed type of inhibitor has proven by the polarization measurements. The drug was heavily adsorbed on the low carbon steel surface and is revealed by SEM and AFM studies. By analyzing the DFT values which leads to the accumulation of a thin layer on the metal surface. IR spectral studies have also confirmed the drug's adsorption on the metal surface." @default.
