- W4316658500 abstract "Rapid and accurate estimation of grid voltage parameters is essential for the smooth control and operation of grid side converters used in renewable energy grid integration. This paper presents a performance evaluation of prominent grid synchronization techniques, i.e., Teager Energy Operator (TEO) based synchronization technique, True Open-loop synchronization (TOLS) technique, and Moving average filter based Open-loop synchronization (MAF-OLS) technique. A comparison analysis was performed based on its ability to extract the fundamental frequency of the three-phase system. Five most commonly preferred test cases are studied in detail in this work to compare the performance of the three techniques in the MATLAB/Simulation environment under different grid considerations. From the extensive simulation studies, it can be found that the methods presented in this paper are suitable for a wider range of three-phase converter-interfaced DG units and uninterrupted grid synchronization with improved performance." @default.
