- W4316659898 abstract "This paper introduces a floating DC link converter stabilizing a 3-ph induction motor during grid voltage imbalances created due to faults. The stator terminals of the machine are connected to grid and the rotor terminals are connected to VSI. The DC link side of the VSI is connected to a high value capacitor for voltage stabilization. This method of stabilization is only applicable for conditions of constant frequency operation which are generally fans or machines used for pumping. The purpose of this system is stabilization of induction motor during voltage disturbances without impact on load. For our consideration the 3-ph induction motor is induced with single line voltage sag and the stabilization is achieved using different controller schemes. The VSI is controlled with PI and FIS controllers determining the best controller doing a comparative analysis. The modelling of the test module with grid connected 3-ph induction motor and floating DC link stabilizing converter is done in MATLAB Simulink software." @default.
