- W4317366316 abstract "일본 쇼묘는 범찬․한찬․화찬(민요조)의 세 가지가 있고, 범찬에는 진언․다라니와 더불어 전찬(前讚)으로 불리는 협의의 범찬이 있다. 진언과 다라니는 만뜨라찬팅이라 할 수 있지만 범찬은 동일한 제목의 한찬과 뜻과 형식이 일치한다. 고야산 곤고부지 의례와 고야산 대학의 쇼묘 강의 자료를 통하여 전찬의 사지범찬(四智梵讚)과 후찬의 사지한찬(四智漢讚)을 채보․분석해 보니 범찬은 한찬 문형에 맞추어 동일한 자수(字數)로 짓다보니 글자가 늘어나서 한어찬 보다 1구가 많았다. 음악적으로 범찬은 시작음과 종지음이 동일하고, 주로 시작음인 라(D)에서 음을 늘이며 잣는 창법을 구사하였다. 이에 비해서 한찬은 범찬 보다 4도 위에서 시작하여 선율 움직임의 폭이 크고, 다양한 선율과 시김새를 구사하다가 종지음은 전찬인 범찬과 동일한 음으로 마쳤다. 범찬이 한찬보다 10자가 많지만 한찬이 모음을 좀더 늘여 지으므로 두 곡의 소요시간은 거의 비슷했다. 또한 종지음과 종지형도 같아서 두 악곡은 한 쌍을 이루었다. 범어범패 중 진언과 다라니는 범음 자체에 초점이 맞추어진 만뜨라 찬팅인데 비해 범찬은 의례의 핵심 경전을 송(誦)하기 전에 하는 범문 찬탄이므로 전찬이라 하고, 송경이 끝나면 한문 후찬을 하는 점에서 용도의 차이가 있다. 범찬은 한찬과 쌍을 이룬데다 범자를 한자 문형과 맞추어 7언 절구 형태를 지니고 있다. 이러한 범찬은 중국이나 한국에는 없는 일본의 독특한 범어범패 장르이다. 범찬이 태밀(台密)의 천태종 보다 순밀(順密)의 진언종에서 더 많이 불리는 이유는 범어쇼묘가 밀교행법과 관련이 깊기 때문이다." @default.
