The evaluation of the electrochemical characteristics of lithium-ion batteries is carried out by manufacturing a composite electrode. However, since the composite electrode is greatly affected by the thickness, porosity, composition, etc. of the electrode, it is difficult to measure the intrinsic properties of the active material. In order to solve this problem, a single particle measurement method is a method of conducting electrochemical property evaluation by flowing an electric current through one particle of active material. The single particle measurement method is a method of conducting an electrochemical evaluation by passing an electric current by contacting a microelectrode and an active material particle. This measurement method yields various electrochemical parameters by fixing the charge and varying the discharge current.
