- W4320008772 abstract "Nanotechnology is emerging as an interdisciplinary branch of modern science. There are several chemical and physical methods already have been reported for nanoparticle production. But due to their harsh impact on the environment, scientists worldwide have shifted their focus to environmental-friendly Green Synthesis methodologies that include the use of various plant extracts and endophytic microorganisms those are associated with host more often in a symbiotic relationship. There are several studies that have reported regarding the use of endophytes in the production of gold, silver, and copper nanoparticles. The synthesis obeys bottom-up approach where the metal ions first adhere to the negatively charged endophytic surface by electrostatic interactions followed by their transportation within cell by ion channels where they are reduced to their zero-valent atomic states and further aggregate into nanoparticle forms. Here we have further discussed about production variability by modification of the synthesis conditions and nanoconjugate production with endophytic secondary metabolites for targeted delivery." @default.
