- W4320038083 abstract "The BDS-3 system has completed its constellation deployment and has been formally commissioned. Data quality analysis is an effective way to verify the signal system and evaluate the performance of the receiver, and is also the premise of the high-precision application of onboard GNSS. Utilizing the BDS/GPS dual-frequency observation of the multi-GNSS receiver carried by TH-4 satellite, the data quality and service performance of each system were analyzed and compared through such indicators as carrier-to-noise ratio (CNR), multipath effect, available satellites number, and geometric dilution of precision (GDOP). The results indicate that the carrier-to-noise ratios of IGSO and GEO signals of BDS is slightly lower than those of MEO signals. The CNR of GPS L1 signal is comparable to that of BDS, and the signal strength of GPS L2 is obviously lower than that of others by about 4 dBHz. The multipath error of GPS signal and BDS B1I signal are at an identical level, while BDS B3I is much better, reaching 0.14 m. In terms of the carrier phase data cycle slips ratio, BDS and GPS are roughly equivalent. The average cycle slip time reaches nearly 30 min. The visible satellites number and GDOP value of BDS are better than those of GPS during the experiment period." @default.
