Such processes can result in a temperature rise, which may cause continuous chemical reactions. This chapter introduces typical research studies on multiscale modeling methods on shock reaction of MESMs. The mass transport mechanism is first introduced because of its importance in chemical reactions between multicomponent materials. Then, the following sections give a detailed description on multiscale models considering the transport rate, including infinite transport rate, limited transport rate, and the transport rate considering the effects of temperature and stress." @default.
