- W4320488148 abstract "The azo-Schiff ligands have been prepared through two steps. The first one Included the reaction between one mole of 2- ethyl aniline and one mole of salceldehyde to make azo compound .and second step include the reaction two moles of azo compound with one mole of tri ethylene tetra amine to make ligand. One mole of Co+2, Ni+2, Cu+2 chlorides salts were react with the ligand to make Complexes of (1:1) ratio , the prepared compounds were characterized by FT-IR , UV-Vis , while 1HNMR and 13C-NMR for the ligand, C.H.N spectroscopies , as well as Flame Emission Spectrophotometer , molar conductivity and magnetic successptibility for prepared complexes . These measurements shows the complexes have octahedral shape. the biological activity was evaluated against two kinds of bacteria gram positive (Staph.Epidermidis) and gram negative (Enterobacter. Spp) for the new azo-schiff ligand and it's complexes with Co +2 , Ni +2 and Cu +2 ." @default.
