• W4320490256 abstract "The differences in biological characteristics of Graphene oxide nanoparticles (GONPs) were reported in various kinds of bacteria, cancer cells, and with non-cancer cells. Meanwhile, the mechanism of action of nanoparticles against cancer cell lines is not clear yet. Graphene oxide nanoparticles (GONPs) and Amygdalin were used as anti-proliferative and apoptosis inducer in Breast cancer cell line (AMJ13). GONPs are characterized using SEM and Uv-spectrum techniques. This study aimed to investigate the synergistic effect of Amygdalin and GONPs against proliferation of breast cancer cells AMJ13. MTT test was used to study the anti-proliferative activity of the Amygdalin and GONPs against AMJ-13 cells. Apoptosis markers was investigated using Annexin-V assay and DNA fragmentation test. The results showed that the Amygdalin and GONPs had synergistic effect against AMJ13 cells rather than GONPs and Amygdalin a lone. Taken together, the results of present study suggest that the Amygdalin and GONPs could be a promising approach for treatment of different types of cancers." @default.
