- W4320803065 abstract "The traditional model was proposed under uniform lighting conditions on PV arrays. However, for PV arrays along the surface of BIPV buildings, with multiple included angle between the solar panels and incident light, the traditional model appeared to have inevitable limitation. Irradiance is considered to be the main factor in modeling the output electrical characteristics of PV arrays. Conventional models are presented for uniform illumination conditions of PV arrays. However, for PV arrays along BIPV building surfaces with multiple included angles between solar panels and incident light, the conventional model seems to have unavoidable limitations. Therefore, in this paper, we simulate PV modules connected in series with different irradiance and model the characteristics of series PV arrays under complex lighting conditions, and compare the power generation of PV modules under optimal illumination conditions with complex lighting conditions using Jinan, China as the target region The result indicated that, under complex lighting conditions, the power generated by PV arrays has dropped significantly, so that the traditional MPPT algorithm is no longer applicable to the maximum power point tracking, which provides a theoretical analysis basis for subsequent MPPT algorithm upgrade and PV array design." @default.
