- W4322007586 abstract "Motivated by the discovery of exoplanetary systems with multiple giant planets, we present the results of a systematic study of the possibility of terrestrial planet formation in systems with three Jupiter-like planets. We began by carrying out a large number of orbital integrations for different values of the mass, semimajor axis and orbital eccentricities of giant bodies and identified the regions of the parameter space for which the three-planet system is stable. Formation of terrestrial planet was then studied in the stable system where we simulated the stage of giant impacts considering the perturbation of the three giant planets. Results show that as expected, terrestrial planet formation can proceed constructively in systems where giant planets are in low-eccentricity orbits. Results also show that despite its mass and eccentricity, the farther planet plays a weaker role in the formation and composition of the final planets. We present results of our simulations and discuss their implications for the orbital assembly and composition of terrestrial planets in systems with more than two giant planets.    " @default.
