- W4322619911 abstract "With the invention of novel energy storage devices, supercapacitors (SCs) are attractive in several fields, including electronics, transportation, biomedical, smart textile, etc. The electrochemical performance of the SCs could be improved by selecting proper electrode materials and fabrication technologies. Some of the attractive features of electrode materials are high capacity, exceptional stability, and low expenditure. Metal oxides (MOs) play a vital role in such applications due to their stable electrochemical performance, low cost, synthetical versatility, and relatively fast reversible redox reaction. In addition, making nanocomposites of MOs can further improve their electrochemical performance and stability. Many methods and approaches are used to fabricate electrodes. Among those, 3D-printing techniques offer better control of the flexibility and geometry of electrodes and devices which bring a great revolution in the production of electrodes with novel architecture. The advanced architectural design of the manufacturing process represents a potential route for the modern innovation of high-efficiency, multifunctional devices that can store more energy with high electrochemical and mechanical properties." @default.
