- W4322731566 abstract "In order to study the influence of the two types of steering methods, namely, integrated type and distributed type, on the mechanical performance of the externally prestressed steering device, the numerical simulation models of the two steering types were established respectively. The validity of the computation model was verified by comparing with available literature experimental data. The research shows that the steering type has a great influence on the mechanical performance of the steering device. Compared with the integrated type, the maximum compressive stress of the distributed type steering method on the steering device is reduced by more than 90%, and the maximum tensile stress is reduced by more than 50%. For the maximum Mises stress of the steering steel pipe, the distributed type reduced by about 85% compared to the integrated type. Different steering types have less effect on the stress distribution of the steering device. The stress distribution of the two steering devices is basically the same, which is compressed above the steering tunnel and pulled below the steering tunnel. In practical project, due to the good force characteristics of the distributed type steering device and considering the maintenance and repair in the operation phase, it is recommended to use the distributed type steering device." @default.
