However, owing to an incomplete understanding of the generation of occupant environmental control behavior, the actual energy consumption of a building is quite different from the expectation in the design stage. Constructing a model to describe the typical behavior of occupants can improve the prediction accuracy of the building energy consumption. However, the necessity of improving the effect of smart control by implementing dynamic behavior prediction in a real scene through the model needs to be further discussed. It is necessary to develop a method to identify the behavior patterns of occupants in a target room, including those reflecting environmental preferences and habits, and allow smart control to consider these patterns in the operation process. Therefore, this study first designs a non-intrusive, easy to deploy, and remotely managed data acquisition system to obtain four types of environmental control behavior data (air conditioning, window, shading, and lighting control behaviors and occupancy) and environmental parameter data (including illuminance, weather conditions, indoor and outdoor temperature and relative humidity and concentration of carbon dioxide). This study proposes a method to identify typical indoor occupant environmental control behavior patterns that includes data cleaning, data compression, and temporal series association analysis processes. Patterns of the four kinds of environmental control behavior affected by preferences and habits were obtained using three case studies. Experiments in target rooms demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed method. This method can deepen the understanding of occupant behavior patterns in buildings from the data-driven perspective and provide support for smart control of buildings." @default.
