- W4323929168 abstract "We reported a new set of vapor-liquid equilibrium (VLE) data on the solubility of dimethyl ether (DME) in n-decane and DME-saturated liquid density at T= (293.15 - 393.15) K and P = (0.345 - 2.76) MPa. The experimental data are modeled using the Soave-Redlich-Kwong equation of state (SRK EoS). The results show an Absolute average relative deviation (AARD) of 4.15% and 0.40% for solubility and the DME-saturated liquid phase density, respectively. Furthermore, Henry's law constant of DME solubility in n-decane was estimated from the pressure versus solubility data. The Henry constant as a function of temperature is parameterized using the van ’t Hoff equation with an AARD of 4.34% with respect to solubility. In addition, the DME-saturated liquid density data are correlated with an AARD of 0.18%. The tuned EoS model and correlations can be used to estimate DME solubility in n-decane and DME-saturated liquid density at wide pressure and temperature ranges." @default.
