- W4327596992 abstract "Ultrathin and controllable tin-selenide nanosheets (SnSe NSs) were successfully prepared and employed as broadband saturable absorbers (SAs) to generate high-peak-power lasers in the mid-infrared (MIR) region. The prepared SnSe NSs SAs exhibited good broadband nonlinear saturable absorptance performance in the experiments. Broadband MIR solid-state lasers were achieved based on the SnSe NSs SA at 2 µm and 2.8 µm. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first description of SnSe NSs SAs for MIR all-solid-state laser applications. The results indicated that SnSe NSs SAs are an effective way to realize high-energy and high-peak-power broadband pulsed lasers and are promising for the realization of MIR ultrafast lasers." @default.
