- W4328104914 abstract "This article reveals the feasibility of the formation of C 60 through the naphthalenoctyl polymerization process by introducing 13 CHCl 3 during the pyrolysis of naphthalene. The study shows that under the pyrolysis temperature of 1560 °C, 1–4 complete 10-carbon naphthalene frameworks (C 10 ) can participate in the formation of C 60 . However, as the number of participating C 10 naphthalene framework units increases, the content of C 60 generated through the naphthalenoctyl polymerization process decreases. The process of C 60 formation through naphthalenoctyl polymerization process under high-temperature conditions, as elucidated in this study, is a supplement to the “bottom-up” growth path of fullerene." @default.
