- W4328135353 abstract "The purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy of cultural management tools in the field of public heritage management (using museums as an example), before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. The study draws on the results of a survey conducted in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan. Content from social media pages and websites for public heritage sites in these countries were used as well. Despite the disparities between the research objects, their comparative analysis allowed the identification of common trends in the studied sector. It was proved that public heritage sites are gradually shifting away from repetitive activities and becoming more self-sufficient. They have also started to serve as testing grounds for various projects. The influence of COVID-19 on this sector, regional differences in public heritage management in the studied countries have been identified, and recommendations have been developed." @default.
