In our study, the effect of the microstructure and mechanical properties of P92 steel weld joints made with Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG), Activated TIG (A-TIG), and TIP TIG welding were studied. During the welding process, A-TIG welding had a higher heat input than TIG welding, reaching a higher peak temperature, and higher dislocation was observed, which increased the strength by 10% than TIG welding. The welded joints made with TIG welding had more proportion of ferrite, which was better in toughness than the martensitic matrix and increased impact energy by 10% than those made with A-TIG welding." @default.
