- W43581837 abstract "Two series of complexes are formed by the interaction of plutonium(IV) with arsenazo III depending on the concentration of nitric acid. At the low nitric acid concentration ( ontrol migra- 0.1N) complexes with plutonium/ arsenazo III ratios of 1: 1 and 1: 2 are formed, whereas in solutions of high acidity (4 to 7 N) the ratios are 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3. Optimum conditions for the photometric determination of Pu are not less than the three-fold excess of arsenazo III and the concentration of nitric acid of 4 to 7 N. The molar extinction coefficient of the complex (with the component ratio of 1: 3) formed under these conditions is 136000. (auth)" @default.
