- W4360604306 abstract "The electrolytic magnetic abrasive finishing process (EMAF) is hybrid machining, which combines electrochemical machining (ECM) with the magnetic abrasive finishing process (MAF). In comparison with a dedicated MAF or ECM, this hybrid process provides better surface finishing and saves machining time. With the demand for higher surface finishing and machining accuracy, it needs to develop a process that can easily be implemented on the material and gives better results. Abrasive materials help out to remove the passive layer which is formed on the workpiece surface in MAF process. This paper explores the recent work done and developments by different researchers. Also, the influence of different factors i.e., rpm, electrolyte concentration, machining time, magnetic abrasive size & magnetic flux density on performance of EMAF by measuring surface roughness (SR) and material removal rate (MRR) have been studied." @default.
