- W4361028593 abstract "北海道東部太平洋陸棚域における水塊分布および流動場の平均的な季節変化を、厚岸沖定線（A-line）における17年間の長期データを用いて明らかにした。沿岸親潮水は12月～1月の間に当該海域に出現する。出現初期の1月に南西向きの流速が極大となるが、この時期の流れ場は順圧流が卓越する。沿岸親潮水の出現時期がオホーツク海からの海氷流出より早い場合が見られることから、出現初期の沿岸親潮水は必ずしも太平洋側へ流出した海氷が融解してできたものではなく、その水塊形成には東樺太海流水が重要であることが示唆された。一方、7月～8月の間に宗谷暖流変質水の流入により陸棚上の水塊構造が大きく 変化するとともに、8月～9月にも南西向きの流速が極大となった。この原因は、宗谷暖流変質水の流入によって岸一沖間の密度勾配が増加したためであり、この時期の流れ場は沿岸密度流が卓越する。当該陸棚域に分布する水塊は、オホーツク海に分布する水域と比較して大きく変質していることから、オホーツク海から当該陸棚域へ至るまでの水塊変質が当該海域における水塊の形成に重要であることが示唆された。" @default.
