- W4362608431 abstract "Abstract This study aims to investigate the barriers and drivers relating to telecommuting as a mode of work in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. Using a qualitative research design, data from 30 interviews conducted with employees from different departments and specialties in Lebanon were analysed. The results reveal three main themes, namely, technological context, organisational context and national context in relation to the experiences of workers telecommuting during the pandemic. There are limited studies that examine telecommuting in the Middle East region in general and in Lebanon in particular. The study highlights the benefits of telecommuting and offers several organisational and contextual implications that would enhance the adoption of telecommuting in the Middle East region." @default.
