- W4364301726 abstract "Several DC-DC converter topologies are discussed, together with their design considerations and performance assessments, in this study for use in Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs). Output power, component count, switching frequency, EMI, losses, efficacy, reliability, and cost are some of the metrics against which the design and assessment of different converter topologies are evaluated and contrasted. Therefore, in order to link a high-voltage battery to a low-voltage motor, energy storage systems choose a bidirectional DC-DC converter with a broad voltage-gain range. To connect the battery to the motor, an interleaved switched-capacitor DC-DC converter is employed. This converter uses an interleaved structure on the low voltage side to smooth out the current flowing through that side, and a series-connected design on the high voltage side to boost the converter's efficiency and provide a large step-up/step-down voltage gain. By using the converter, the motor may generate electricity during deceleration. Three-phase inverters also benefit from a specially developed space vector modulation.
