- W4365392994 abstract "This paper suggests a novel LUO-type converter with a high gain voltage for use with renewable energy sources. The proposed model is constructed by fusing a conventional LUO DC-DC converter with two distinct circuits. It is intended to use six passive components and five diodes. The LUO DC-DC converter suggested here achieves a high voltage gain of seven times the supplied voltage. Significant dc gain without excessive duty cycle permits the use of lower voltage and RDs-on MOSFET switches, resulting in cost savings, non-pulsating input current, ease of design and operation, single switch resulting in ease of transistor driving, and line-load common ground. Additionally, the low-voltage stress across the diode enables the use of Schottky rectifiers to reduce the reverse recovery current, resulting in increased conduction and switching losses reduction. The voltage and current equations are retrieved for “continuous conduction mode (CCM)” and “discontinuous conduction mode (DCM)”. Additionally, voltage and current stresses are computed on the components and switch. Finally, the suggested converter’s performance is confirmed by simulation and experimental findings that corroborate the theoretical computation." @default.
