- W4366147003 abstract "Efficient detection of acetone is essential for medical applications. In this context, we are reporting acetone selective SrTiO <inf xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>3</inf> -TiO <inf xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>2</inf> sensor. Initially, TiO <inf xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>2</inf> nanotube array was synthesized by the electrochemical anodization and then treated with Sr(OH)2 solution through the hydrothermal reaction. The morphology and crystallinity of the SrTiO <inf xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>3</inf> -TiO <inf xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>2</inf> nanotubes were investigated. The Au/SrTiO <inf xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>3</inf> -TiO <inf xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>2</inf> /Ti sensor exhibited its natural selectivity towards acetone and showed a high response (99.5%/50 ppm) at 150°C under 80% relative humidity. The sensor exhibited a remarkable 51.2% response even for 0.5 ppm acetone. The stability and hydrophobicity of SrTiO <inf xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>3</inf> result in consistency during repeated cycle study of the sensor." @default.
